Science
Yesterday, we watched a Bill Nye video about the respiration system and blood. I learned that every one thousand red blood cell equals exactly one white blood cell. Every day, your body makes 2 billion new red blood cells. Our bodies use blood to carry food, oxygen, and waste. Our bodies have 25 trillion red blood cells. When you breathe, your diaphragm goes down and your lungs fill up. Your lungs have as much surface area as a tennis court. Blood cells are made in your bones. When we eat, and breathe, we give ourselves energy. The heart weighs 300 grams.
